Loving yourself in a world that profits from your self doubt is an act of revolution.
Our world is evolving and womanhood with it. The ‘feminist’ movement has become even more divisive and it seems the hard work of our sisters throughout history, to fight for equal rights for all, has been warped and become just another weapon for the patriarchy to use against us. Trans, non-binary and intersex women are still 'on the edges'. There is a fear to acknowledge their existence and resistance to accept them in to our women's spaces. This split in our global sisterhood is simply feeding the mouths of those who profit from our self-doubt. The ways in which our binary understanding has held us back, maintained the divide between the sexes and created shame and exclusion in what should be open, loving and supportive spaces needs to be redressed and NOW!

Traditional women’s circles were created as safe and sacred spaces for women to come together to be heard and seen, and to share stories and wisdoms with one another in trust and a loving community. Still today, women hold circles all over the world.
These circles are often associated with ancient practices such as yoga and meditation. Connecting to our bodies, our minds, our spirituality and to one another is a primitive need. However, so many of the ways in which the western world has taken and ‘adapted’ indigenous traditions, have muddied the waters of what these circles really should represent at their core; love, acceptance and inclusion. They have become 'instagram' trendy, white-washed, cis-centric and unattainable. This is not to say that all are like this, but what is vastly lacking in my experience and from what I hear and read, is perhaps an openness to the evolution of what womanhood actually means, today. One particular article I read addresses many of these issues. I HIGHLY recommend reading this.. ALL of it! (*link below) But here is a particularly potent excerpt..
"I’m not "erasing women" by showing the temerity of existing in this world. Women still exist, in vast numbers. Allowing trans women in the room just makes MORE women, not less (yay math). Allowing Asian, Black and Native American women to sit beside White women did not erase White women. Allowing trans women into women spaces will not erase natal women." Cassie Brighter.
Our binary societies have closed the doors to those who don’t fit the mould of the Western and patriarchal version of a woman. Some women’s movements have become exclusive and by default therefore, exclusionary. Spiritual, grounding, natural body practices in circle, are often closed to those who don't 'fit' and this is so sad and so wrong. We talk so much about the witch trials and how we were persecuted for simply being and interacting with nature, how we had our tongues slit and were burnt at the stake! Well, we are now facing a brand new version of the witch trials… and sadly much of this comes from within our own communities. We are silencing the voices of our modern day witches!

The threat to our current paradigm is being resisted on all levels. We have fought all these years for change and yet now we are fearful. What we have achieved throughout history has created ripples.. we wanted it to right? It seems not. New walls have been built and we are repeating what we fought so hard to dismantle.
Ultimately, we all share this planet together and the longer we maintain barriers, resist the paradigm shift and remain in our self-created ‘safe’ zones, the harder it will be to come together and reverse the destruction the old paradigm initiated.
Those who have been marginalised continue their fight to be accepted, but their fight is our fight. Non white women, queer women, trans women, intersex women, non-binary folk are paving the way. (Indeed they always have! Check your feminist history!) They are the modern day witches. The fear mongering and propaganda has to stop. White, cisgender women like myself, absolutely have the obligation to help make these changes.
This is why it was so important for me that The More. Collective includes and celebrates ALL women and those who identify. Womanhood is however you feel it in your body and heart and not for others to define; men, or anyone! I believe in the right to full self-expression and the need for our traditional women’s spaces to be opened up, to create a beautiful, diverse and loving sisterhood.

Our physical form is just one aspect, but there are so many other elements that make us, US. We are so much more than our bodies! All of the rich and wonderful variations should be celebrated. So, whether you own a pussy and want to celebrate it, you are affirming your gender, or you flow between the binaries; you are who you say you are and your unique version of womanhood is beautiful.
Our women’s circle welcomes you.
